Legg kål og 1 ½ kg fårikålkjøtt lagvis i en stor gryte.
Dryss hvetemel, pepperkorn og salt mellom hvert lag.
Hell på 4 dl vann og kok opp under lokk. La småkoke i ca. 2 timer. Spe ev på med litt mer vann underveis så det ikke koker tørt.
Kok potetene møre i lettsaltet vann, ca. 25 minutter. Server til fårikålen.
